Main Purpose of Job

As a Graduate E-commerce professional, you will be working closely with the sales team, particularly the E-commerce Manager, to support the E-Com, Pharmacy & Grocery Channels.

You will also be required to collaborate with supporting functions, including Digital, Marketing, Shopper marketing, and Supply Chain.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting sales and growth targets within the sales function
  • Assisting the sales team with day-to-day tasks, including submitting promotions, analyzing data, forecasting, budgeting trade spend, and attending internal meetings
  • Main account focus will be working on Amazon, learning dashboards, data sets, and supporting the management of the account
  • Bridging the gap between other functions to support a 'one team' way of working
  • Attending external customer meetings when required
AccountabilitiesAccount Management
  • Supporting the implementation of short-term and long-term strategies to achieve commercial targets across Amazon and other accounts
Financial & Forecasting Responsibility
  • Supporting account managers with monthly forecasting cycles
Marketing Support
  • Supporting account managers to work with the marketing team to align brand 360 activation with in-store activity
  • Working closely with digital managers to optimize digital traffic and conversion
Internal Business Support
  • Supporting weekly reporting to the business on performance, including overall targets, promotions, digital metrics, and clear recommendations
  • Maintaining an impactful presence and being comfortable interacting regularly with senior-level management at Abbott Nutrition and Amazon and other relevant accounts
  • Involved in regional best practice sharing
Background/Education

Experience

  • Degree-educated with a keen passion for E-commerce and sales
  • Financial understanding, including P&Ls, would be beneficial
  • Experience in the FMCG/pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or appropriate marketing/business sector is preferred
  • Evidence of achieving annual commercial targets
  • Excellent cross-functional working experience
  • A proactive drive to learn and develop with the ambition to grow and progress in a company
  • Analytical skills
  • A desire to learn

Education:

  • Educated to degree level and/or equivalent qualification with relevant commercial experience
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
