Job Title: Children's Residential Home Registered Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Children's Residential Home Registered Manager to join our team at Whitetrees Group. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and management to our staff, ensuring the highest possible quality of care for our young people, and maintaining a safe and supportive living environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and management to all staff, ensuring the highest possible quality of care within a safe working and living environment.
  • Person-Centred Approach: Foster self-awareness and reflection, personal growth, and give each person the strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met, and quality assurance initiatives are implemented within the home.
  • Care Planning and Delivery: Ensure that all children and young people have an up-to-date care plan, which is regularly evaluated and actively involves them in the preparation.
  • Staff Management and Development: Ensure that all staff are annually appraised, and required standards of performance are being achieved, manage under-performance/shortfalls through objective setting and regular reviews.
  • Communication and Partnerships: Establish and maintain good relationships with relatives and friends of the young people, referring agencies/local authorities, the local community, and any other parties with whom Whitetrees Group works collaboratively with.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold a relevant qualification in childcare or a related field, and have experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Possess excellent leadership and management skills, have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, and be able to provide a person-centred approach to care.
  • Training and Development: Be committed to ongoing training and development, and be willing to participate in regular supervisions and quality assurance activities.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: £37,600 - £44,720 (OTE £53,760 - £62,080)
