We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Consultant to join our team at Hope Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving our business impact related projects, working with clients on their sustainability and ESG strategies, policies, and implementation plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sustainability strategies, impact assessments, and action plans with and for clients.
- Oversee sustainability reporting and ensure alignment with appropriate global frameworks and standards.
- Manage client relationships and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Lead teams and manage stakeholder groups.
- Create and deliver presentations and workshops for clients.
- Participate and engage with industry, such as through working groups, forums, and events.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental sustainability or related consultancy roles, such as ESG or CSR.
- A strong understanding of sustainability and ESG principles (e.g. ISO standards, CSRD, SECR, SBTi, GHG Protocol).
- Experience in sectors such as entertainment, live events, culture, or sport.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills are valued.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and Google Suite; advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are important.
- Knowledge of global and local environmental legislation and mandatory reporting requirements.
- Familiarity with social value frameworks (e.g. UK National TOMs, B Corp).
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
