Senior Director of Development, University Programmes

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director of Development to lead our University Programmes team. As a key member of our Development and Alumni Relations team, you will be responsible for driving our ambitious fundraising efforts and playing a critical role in shaping the future of philanthropy at the University of Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of 40 fundraising professionals, fostering a culture of motivation, accountability, and excellence.
- Develop and implement multi-year fundraising strategies with demanding targets, working closely with senior leaders across the University and Colleges.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director, Principal Gifts & International, to co-create and lead the fundraising programme as a whole.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for key fundraising areas, including Health Priorities, Academic Schools, Strategic Initiatives, and Culture and Collections.

Requirements- Proven track record in leading multifaceted fundraising teams and managing complex relationships within a large organisation.
- Experience in developing and implementing multi-year fundraising strategies with demanding targets.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior leaders across the University and Colleges.
