About the Role:
Elevate Partners is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director to lead our European infrastructure and energy transition efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing financing solutions for mid-market companies and financial sponsors across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Origination: Identify and cultivate relationships with mid-market companies, financial sponsors, and industry stakeholders across Europe, focusing on infrastructure and energy transition opportunities.
- Deal Structuring: Lead the structuring of complex financing solutions, including senior debt, mezzanine debt, and hybrid capital structures tailored to meet client needs and project specifications.
- Due Diligence: Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Deal Execution: Manage all aspects of deal execution, from initial pitch through to closing, ensuring timely and successful completion of transactions.
- Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the loan portfolio, proactively identifying opportunities for value creation, risk mitigation, and portfolio optimization.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the firm's strategic plan in the infrastructure and energy transition sectors, including market entry strategies and new product development.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of junior professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the infrastructure and energy transition sectors, providing thought leadership to the firm and its clients.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in mid-market lending, investment banking, with a focus on European infrastructure/energy transition sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Extensive experience in deal structuring and execution.
- Proven track record of successful deal origination.
- Deep understanding of European infrastructure and energy transition markets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
