As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in sourcing, structuring, and executing financing solutions that drive growth and innovation in these sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal Origination and Execution: Identify and cultivate relationships with mid-market companies, financial sponsors, and industry stakeholders across Europe, focusing on infrastructure and energy transition opportunities.
  • Financing Solutions: Lead the structuring of complex financing solutions, including senior debt, mezzanine debt, and hybrid capital structures tailored to meet client needs and project specifications.
  • Due Diligence and Risk Management: Oversee comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple European jurisdictions.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the performance of the loan portfolio, proactively identifying opportunities for value creation, risk mitigation, and portfolio optimization.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of the firm's strategic plan in the infrastructure and energy transition sectors, including market entry strategies and new product development.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of junior professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the infrastructure and energy transition sectors, providing thought leadership to the firm and its clients.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in mid-market lending, investment banking, with a focus on European infrastructure/energy transition sectors.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • Skills: Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, extensive experience in deal structuring and execution, proven track record of successful deal origination, deep understanding of European infrastructure and energy transition markets, excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
