Monarch Healthcare is seeking a skilled Activities Coordinator to join our team at Heeley Bank Care Home in Sheffield. As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging activities and programmes that promote social inclusion and purposeful days for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement monthly activity programmes that cater to the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages social interaction and participation.
- Work within a budget to plan and execute fundraising initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities using relevant documentation.
- Experience in developing and delivering activities and programmes for people with dementia.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of budgeting and fundraising techniques.
