We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Prison Officer to join our team at Serco. As a Prison Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of prisoners, staff, and visitors in our prisons.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise prisoners in all aspects of prison wing activity
- Oversee work and education programmes, encouraging prisoners to participate
- Operational matters such as prisoner headcounts, prison cell searching, security, and administrative processes
- Manage prisoners who are at risk of self-harm

As a Prison Officer, you will undergo a comprehensive training programme, which includes a 10-week Initial Training Course (ITC). You will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities to help you succeed in your role.
