3D Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Bid Writer to join our team in Belfast. As a Bid Writer, you will be responsible for administering the tender process and pre-qualifications, tendering and commercial proposals for current and potential customers in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively administer the tender process and pre-qualifications for current and potential customers.
- Develop and implement tendering and commercial proposals for current and potential customers.
- Collaborate with the Civil Engineering department to undertake a wide range of varied projects with values ranging from £5m to £150m.
- Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and ensure timely submission of tenders.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify business opportunities and trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize tender processes and administration systems.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent editing and proofing ability.
- Excellent literacy skills and extensive vocabulary.
- Possibly a journalism background or equivalent experience.
- Deadline-driven with effective time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a busy environment and multitask.
- Experience in the construction industry and bid team involvement.
- Proven bid writing skills and ability to demonstrate effective bid writing techniques.
