Our Engineering department is a forward-thinking team that provides specialist courses in various engineering disciplines. We are seeking part-time staff to join our successful department, which is committed to supporting staff and students to excel nationally and internationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality practical skills demonstrations within their area of expertise and providing ongoing support, advice, and guidance to students to promote success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver practical skills/competencies in both workshop and/or workplace settings.
  • Assess and record learner progress in accordance with Grwp tracking and quality systems.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to learners to support and reinforce their learning.
  • Maintain appropriate standards of discipline and ensure good workshop practice in relation to health, safety, and welfare.
  • Prepare materials, tools, and equipment, workplaces, and workstations for practical learner sessions.
  • Undertake duties associated with the maintenance and upkeep of the workshop environment and tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Assist in marketing and recruitment activities and undertake staff development as appropriate.
