Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Independent Living programme as a Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside lecturers and instructors to support learners with a range of life and work skills, including cooking, everyday living skills, gardening, literacy, numeracy, IT, citizenship, personal and social development, and work skills at Pre Entry level 1.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support learners with practical and physical difficulties during breaks times if and when required
  • Work alongside lecturers and instructors in the classroom to help students get the most out of their learning
  • Assist learners in developing their life and work skills, including cooking, everyday living skills, gardening, literacy, numeracy, IT, citizenship, personal and social development, and work skills
