Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of 20 UK customers, including small and large businesses, and a dozen UK prospects.
- Negotiate range and pricing with each customer/prospect.
- Follow up on tariff applications, product range changes, sampling, and technical information requests.
- Identify sales opportunities within the portfolio.
- Showcase the company's product range and unique selling points.
- Participate in food shows, primarily trade events with a few public events.
- Follow up on leads generated by shows through email and other means.
- Propose growth ideas, such as targeting new consumers and customers, and developing new products.
- Collaborate with the UK and French teams to implement specific customer needs, including marketing support, customer shows, and masterclasses.
- Assist the UK and French teams in resolving issues related to ordering, logistics, invoicing, and recovery.
- Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in the dairy sector.
- Minimum 2 years of sales and negotiation experience.
- Understanding of food imports to the UK is a plus.
- Motivated, organized, and meticulous approach to daily tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different situations.
- Not afraid to pick up the phone and possess good professional telephone manner.
- French language skills are a nice extra.
- Salary: £33,000 to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Yearly bonus based on qualitative and quantitative targets.
- 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays.
- 8% employer contribution to a retirement plan.
- Health insurance.
- Hybrid working arrangement with a focus on connecting with or visiting customers and prospects.
