Key Responsibilities- Provide mortgage advice to clients, ensuring that all advice is compliant with the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) rules and regulations.
- Identify and contact potential clients, gathering sufficient information to understand their needs and provide tailored advice.
- Analyse information gathered and undertake research to make suitable recommendations, ensuring that clients receive the best possible mortgage solutions.
- Complete all supporting documentation accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed to a high standard.
- Deliver a high level of service to clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded in a timely manner.
- Attain and maintain competent status as defined by the FCA and our firm, ensuring that all necessary training and development is completed.
- Stay up-to-date with new products, technical changes, and legislative updates within the mortgage industry, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible advice.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, ensuring that our firm operates in a compliant and ethical manner.
- Previous experience in a mortgage advisory capacity, with a strong understanding of the mortgage industry and its regulations.
- CeMap qualification or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice to clients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of organization and time management skills.
- Discretion and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
