About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as an Advanced Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing expert clinical support and guidance to patients and their carers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highly specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and advice to patients and their carers.
  • Lead the clinical specialty, providing leadership, development, and governance, and supporting other clinicians regarding patient treatment and management.
  • Work collaboratively with the manager to lead and develop the service in line with patient need and trust-wide developments.
  • Contribute to the development of the community therapy team, ensuring that therapy input is integrated into patients' overall care plans.
About the Team

The community therapy team works within the integrated health and social care team, supporting patients registered to South Molton and Wallingbrook GP practices. The team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, an occupational therapy apprentice, assistant, and trainee assistant practitioner, and clinical support workers.
