Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Support Assistant to join our team within the Women's Centre Theatres. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our facilities, which include five theatres dedicated to obstetrics and gynaecology.

Key Responsibilities

As a Surgical Support Assistant (Band 2), your primary duties will include:

  1. Facilitating the efficient flow of theatre operations by assisting with the transfer of patients, specimens, and equipment.
  2. Aiding in the proper positioning of patients during surgical procedures.
  3. Ensuring a clean and safe environment within the theatre.
  4. Assisting in the management of patients' personal belongings during their time in the theatre and ward.
