Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional vocational counseling to clients, helping them identify their strengths and abilities to overcome employment barriers.
  • Administer assessments and evaluations to determine clients' vocational capacities and develop personalized plans to achieve employment success.
  • Collaborate with service providers and employers to facilitate job placement and provide ongoing support to clients.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in vocational rehabilitation.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Sociology, Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field.
  • Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in vocational counseling, job placement, career guidance, and assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of counseling and job placement principles, as well as experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and community partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or higher in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field.
  • Experience working in a team environment and contributing to a culture of inclusivity and diversity.
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products and other technologies supporting remote work.
