Job Description

Job Title: Compliance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Engineer to join our team at Safran Landing Systems. As a Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization meets all regulatory requirements and maintains a high level of quality in our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the internal audit program to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain the supplier audit program to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and purchase order requirements.
  • Support and coach operations teams to ensure rejects have robust containment, root cause, corrective, and preventive actions.
  • Support all areas of the business on matters related to the maintenance of quality systems, including procedures and processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of Safety Management Systems (SMS) across the business.
  • Support SLS Management by providing support during internal and external audits and management of the ETQ (audit report system).
  • Support the provision of coaching on quality tools, such as PDCA and root cause analysis, as well as supporting the facilitation of Human Factors training.
  • Assist with the compilation and presentation of Policy Deployment.
  • Assist with the monitoring and analysis of supplier performance and the execution of supplier audits.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role within an aerospace AS9110/AS 9100 environment.
  • Internal Audit qualification to a recognized standard.
  • A good understanding of EASA Part 145 and other aerospace regulations.
  • Experience of working with internal teams and customers, managing complaints, and problem-solving with root cause analysis.
  • Experience of dealing with regulatory authorities.
  • Knowledge and experience in quality improvement and relevant tools.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility within the Quality Team to cover other job responsibilities.
