About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Drama Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Drama Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of young learners by inspiring and nurturing their creative talents.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Drama Teacher who can plan and deliver comprehensive drama lessons that align with the school curriculum. You will be responsible for facilitating the development of students' acting, improvisation, and performance skills, as well as fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons that meet the needs of students
  • Develop and implement creative and interdisciplinary projects with colleagues
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments
  • Support and mentor students in their creative pursuits, providing guidance and feedback
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant drama pedagogy and industry practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience teaching Drama at primary or secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students in their creative expression
