About the Role

The Head of Data and Insights will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by providing actionable insights, taking advantage of opportunities in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and helping to improve business processes with data automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data analysts and data engineers to deliver high-quality data insights and analytics solutions.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs, provide insight, and support key performance indicator tracking to drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with the organization's goals, focusing on data accuracy, accessibility, and usability.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across the organization.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to optimize business processes, enhance performance, and create predictive models that support proactive decision-making.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into business performance and trends.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the organization's data capabilities and business intelligence tools.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in data, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role managing a data team.
  • A strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning applications and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g. Thoughtspot) and data management platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
