About the Role:

Carrington West is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our construction team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and directing the site team, ensuring the safe and effective management of all operational activities across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Manage, supervise, and mentor the site team to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Quality Management: Ensure that all work is carried out to the required quality standards, and that any defects or issues are promptly identified and addressed.
  • Cost Management: Promote cost-conscious management through efficient use of resources, and ensure that all costs are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring that all communication is clear, concise, and timely.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Recognised Civil Engineering or Site Management qualifications, such as a degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant HNC/HND.
  • Certifications: Health, Safety, and Environmental Management certification (IOSH or Construction Managers Safety Certificate), CSCS Site Manager certification, and First Aid at Work certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Water/Waste Water Treatment Industry, with a strong understanding of the sector's specific challenges and requirements.
