Role Overview: This position involves supporting the Project Management team on a significant, long-term industrial demolition initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant statutory regulations.
- Track and report on the contract timeline, coordinating deliverables with the broader team.
- Familiarize yourself with the contract's scope and obligations, with guidance from the Contracts Director.
- Assess environmental impacts and safety risks associated with the project.
- Conduct site inspections and audits alongside senior supervisory and Health & Safety personnel, providing recommendations for compliance improvements.
- Collaborate with the site team to guarantee subcontractors meet their contractual obligations.
- Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements pertinent to the project.
- Assist in gathering data for monthly Contractor Reports.
- Ensure that any issues are communicated to the immediate line manager or the responsible Director.
- Work closely with the Site Manager on demolition and dismantling tasks.
- Coordinate with the Site Manager regarding site logistics and planning.
Qualifications: Ideally, candidates should possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of on-site experience. Previous experience in demolition projects would be advantageous.
