We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at the UK Atomic Energy Authority. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of project managers to ensure the successful planning and execution of all projects carried out at the site in support of site development.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure adequate resourcing for the site Project Management team, taking into account overall programme plans.
- Provide effective leadership and management to ensure a competent, motivated and integrated team.
- Provide oversight, guidance and career development opportunities for project managers at the site.
- Be a member of the STEP Leadership Team and ensure effective communication with the site project team.
- A university degree in a relevant engineering subject or equivalent experience.
- Experience in project management in the engineering/construction sector.
- An excellent attitude towards safety, with knowledge of UK HSE regulations.
- Experience of contract management.
- Ability to plan multiple projects and control budgets and schedules.
- Ability to lead teams to consistently exceed goals and expectations.
- Experience of Portfolio Management, managing a team of Project Managers.
- Project management accreditation (APM, PMI, etc).
- Knowledge of NEC 4.
