Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our team. As a Senior Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting and assessing risks for allocated broker panels, making informed underwriting decisions to achieve business growth and profitability, collaborating with internal and external associates for superior service delivery, and providing leadership and coaching to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Underwrite and assess risks for allocated broker panels, ensuring accurate and timely decisions.
- Make informed underwriting decisions to achieve business growth and profitability, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with internal and external associates, including brokers, agents, and other stakeholders, to deliver exceptional service and support.
- Provide leadership and coaching to team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Degree education in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
- Proven underwriting experience, with a strong track record of success.
- ACII qualification or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in underwriting and risk management.
- Full, valid driving license, with a clean driving record.
