Export Import Coordinator

A highly organized and motivated professional is required for a leading engineering company based in the Aylesbury region. In return, there is an excellent salary of circa £40k-£45k dependent on experience, with excellent company benefits including an annual company bonus and excellent pension scheme in a reputable company.
This role would suit an enthusiastic supply chain professional with good full life cycle procurement process experience and the CIPS qualification or working towards it. Working within a small procurement team, this is an excellent career opportunity for a CIPS professional to develop their export management career further in this exciting, varied, fast-paced role.
The ideal candidate will have the following key skills and experiences:
- Export import experience - Good proven experience and knowledge of import/export processes within engineering, manufacturing, or technical industries.
- Export Import qualifications - ideally CIPS qualified or similar supply chain.
- Experience of end-to-end supply chain management – full life cycle procurement.
- Knowledge of SAP and dangerous goods transportation is desirable.
Some key responsibilities of this procurement role are:
- Be responsible for expediting shipments - worldwide imports, exports, freight forwarders for timely delivery and collection.
- Raising import clearance documents and communicating with freight forwarders.
- Full life cycle procurement - end-to-end supply chain management.
- Receiving goods and services in SAP for parts & consumables.
