Job Title: Academy Site Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academy Site Manager to join our team. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects for various Rolls-Royce sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project.
  • Support project opportunities where identified to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance.
  • Ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards.
  • Carry out daily activity briefings with Rolls Royce & sub-contractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure reporting this information to the project manager where applicable.
  • Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project.
  • Liaise with the Rolls Royce project Manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook.
  • Carry out regular site supervisor safety audits and report findings to the management/safety team.
  • Deliver projects to programme as set by the senior management team.
  • Lead your team to deliver the company's management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.
  • Enhance the strength of contract delivery to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery.
  • Provide trade knowledge and support if required to ensure the quality and performance of the works.
  • Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free.

  • Ability to clearly communicate work tasks and win the commitment of others to achieving high levels of operational performance.

The following qualities/experience are desirable:

  • SSSTS / SMSTS.
  • City & Guilds / NVQ construction related qualification.
  • JIB / BESA.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Practical experience within the building industry.
  • Sound knowledge of computer software, Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to providing a high quality service and willing to work flexibly.
  • Overtime when required.
