Job Title: Project Manager - Construction
Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager - Construction to join our team at Morson Talent. As a Project Manager - Construction, you will be responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects for various sites. You will ensure that the projects are delivered to meet the required standards in regards to safety, quality, and programme while complying with current CDM legislation.
- Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project.
- Support project opportunities where identified to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance.
- Ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards.
- Carry out daily activity briefings with site managers and sub-contractors.
- Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure reporting this information to the project manager where applicable.
- Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project.
- Liaise with the project manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook.
- Carry out regular site supervisor safety audits and report findings to the management/safety team.
- Deliver projects to programme as set by the senior management team.
- Lead your team to deliver the company's management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.
- Enhance the strength of contract delivery to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery.
- Provide trade knowledge and support if required to ensure the quality and performance of the works.
- Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free.

Desirable Qualities/Experience:
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- SSSTS / SMSTS.
- City & Guilds / NVQ construction related qualification.
- JIB / BESA.
- CSCS Card.
- Practical experience within the building industry.
- Sound knowledge of computer software, Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service and willingness to work flexibly, including overtime when required.
