Job Title: Account Manager
Job Summary:
The Account Manager is a key role in providing strategic, tactical, and technical operational leadership and direction across the portfolio. This position requires a strong understanding of the retail sector and excellent knowledge of the industry market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of site-based contract delivery managers to ensure 100% compliance to account KPIs and SLAs.
- Maintain and enhance relevant client relationships to secure future growth.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive profitable growth and improve operational performance.
- Manage the P&L of contracts, including sales, growth, costs, and WIP/debt management.
- Ensure full understanding of contract SLAs and KPIs and deliver these while maintaining industry best practice.
- Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with others.
- Build partnerships with clients and colleagues through open, transparent, and timely communication.
- Ensure a professional image of Integral is presented to clients and visitors and deliver excellence in customer service.
- Adapt management style to meet changing business needs or operational circumstances.
- Manage action plans to implement improvement initiatives.
- Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
- Communicate effectively with the team and recognize, respect, and reward their contributions and achievements.
- Drive and encourage development of self and others through learning and on-the-job experience.
Personal Qualities and Experience:
- Managerial experience at contract/account manager or above within technical and/or hard services is essential.
- A proven track record in the retail sector with excellent knowledge of the industry market.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix management structure.
- New business hunter qualities as well as strong account management skills.
- Able to build positive relationships with clients to resolve day-to-day operational problems and identify opportunities for increasing profitable business.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of leading and inspiring a national team.
- Able to maintain an objective and positive focus through periods of high and sustained work pressure.
Essential Qualifications:
- Industry-relevant qualifications.
- IOSHMS.
- Competent working knowledge of M&E or fabric disciplines.
