Job Title: Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Account Manager is a key role in providing strategic, tactical, and technical operational leadership and direction across the portfolio. This position requires a strong understanding of the retail sector and excellent knowledge of the industry market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of site-based contract delivery managers to ensure 100% compliance to account KPIs and SLAs.
  • Maintain and enhance relevant client relationships to secure future growth.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive profitable growth and improve operational performance.
  • Manage the P&L of contracts, including sales, growth, costs, and WIP/debt management.
  • Ensure full understanding of contract SLAs and KPIs and deliver these while maintaining industry best practice.
  • Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities with others.
  • Build partnerships with clients and colleagues through open, transparent, and timely communication.
  • Ensure a professional image of Integral is presented to clients and visitors and deliver excellence in customer service.
  • Adapt management style to meet changing business needs or operational circumstances.
  • Manage action plans to implement improvement initiatives.
  • Make decisions guided by policies, procedures, and business plans.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and recognize, respect, and reward their contributions and achievements.
  • Drive and encourage development of self and others through learning and on-the-job experience.

Personal Qualities and Experience:

  • Managerial experience at contract/account manager or above within technical and/or hard services is essential.
  • A proven track record in the retail sector with excellent knowledge of the industry market.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix management structure.
  • New business hunter qualities as well as strong account management skills.
  • Able to build positive relationships with clients to resolve day-to-day operational problems and identify opportunities for increasing profitable business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of leading and inspiring a national team.
  • Able to maintain an objective and positive focus through periods of high and sustained work pressure.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Industry-relevant qualifications.
  • IOSHMS.
  • Competent working knowledge of M&E or fabric disciplines.
