About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our depot operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives throughout the night, ensuring they are engaged, organized, and motivated to achieve our operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the accurate sortation of parcels to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met, including Confirmed At Depot (CAD) percentage, depot Throughput target, and Saturations target.
  • Responsible for achieving depot objectives related to Health & Safety, productivity, and cost.
  • Manage and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced operation with a strong track record of people management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Decisive and effective decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • High levels of resilience, self-motivation, and flexibility.
  • Excellent computer skills, with the ability to use Google Chrome applications.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide comprehensive reporting.
  • Strong commitment to the company's values and culture.
