Job Summary: Stride Resource Management is seeking an experienced Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Employers & Public Liability losses, including Medical Malpractice claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of 150 files, split equally between first notifications and cases managed through to successful conclusion.
- Work with a senior colleague on cases exceeding £250,000.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize losses.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless claim handling.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claims handling.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Claims Handler or in a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Employers & Public Liability, Medical Malpractice, and Clinical Negligence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
