About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Adviser to join our team at The People's Pension. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our organisation operates within legal and regulatory frameworks.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance on regulatory matters, advising management on compliance strategies and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements relevant to our operations
  • Act as a subject matter expert on DC pension technical issues, including master trust supervision, pension flexibilities, automatic enrolment, and taxation
  • Support the completion of FCA/PRA/TPR regulatory returns and/or payment of regulatory levies, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and within pre-determined timescales
Requirements
  • Recognised financial services qualification relating to Compliance, pensions, and/or insurance
  • Experience of DC trust-based occupational pension schemes and/or master trusts
  • Good technical knowledge of DC pensions, automatic enrolment, taxation, and pension flexibilities
  • Experience of working as part of a project team
