Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Financial Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial operations.
  • Cash Management: Oversee cash flow, treasury, and investment activities to ensure optimal financial performance.
  • Financial Systems: Implement and maintain financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing or engineering business.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
