Job Summary:
Finitas is seeking a highly skilled Risk Assurance Specialist to join their team in a growing Lloyd's broker. As a key member of the 2nd line function, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, deep dives, thematic reviews, and controls testing to provide assurance to senior management that the correct controls are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end deep-dive reviews and control testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Head of Assurance and other team members to share best practices and improve processes.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate complex risk management concepts to senior management and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in risk assurance or internal audit.
- Background in insurance or a related industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
