Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Second Line Assurance professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Second Line Assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our controls and risk management framework. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing assurance to management that our controls are designed and operating effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a risk-based annual Second Line Assurance plan, aligned with DUAL's risk and control framework.
  • Conduct thorough reviews, testing, and analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide clear and concise reporting of testing results to management and the CRO.
  • Collaborate with risk and control owners across DUAL to establish value-adding relationships.
  • Coordinate the annual Second Line Assurance risk assessment.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in performing end-to-end deep-dive reviews and control testing in a financial services environment, preferably insurance.
  • Relevant compliance or audit qualification.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical test plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to work with diverse teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions from testing.
  • Confidence to make recommendations for improvements in controls environment.
