About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior mental health practitioner, working with veterans who are experiencing complex mental health needs. As a member of our Core Team, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team providing specialist interventions and support to help veterans overcome their challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting clinical assessments of need, including risk and safety
  • Delivering psychosocial interventions, including psychoeducation and emotional regulation
  • Working with psychological therapists to formulate and support your work
  • Providing practical and psychological support to help veterans manage their mental health
  • Liaising with charities and local organisations to support wider health and wellbeing
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in mental health nursing, social work, or occupational therapy
  • Extensive experience of working with people with complex mental health needs
  • Experience of working as a care coordinator within the community
  • High level of understanding of the difficulties experienced by veterans and how this impacts on function
