Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess needs and implement high-quality physiotherapy programs for pediatric patients across various settings. This role requires a solid understanding of pediatric physiotherapy practices to provide specialized, responsive treatment aimed at enhancing mobility, independence, and preventing disability.

Main Responsibilities

The pediatric physiotherapy team is in search of a dedicated and skilled Band 7 Physiotherapist with exceptional clinical and communication abilities.

You should possess a comprehensive knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy along with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development. A proactive approach to seeking guidance and advice is essential. You will be welcomed as a vital member of a dynamic and supportive physiotherapy team. Your role will involve assessing needs and delivering quality physiotherapy programs to pediatric patients in diverse environments, including community clinics and home visits. You will receive mentorship and support throughout your role, including opportunities to rotate through specialized clinics.

Detailed Job Description and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include assessing, diagnosing, developing treatment plans, and providing effective physiotherapy interventions, utilizing a problem-solving approach based on clinical needs and evidence-based practices. This often involves working with pediatric patients with complex medical conditions.

You will be expected to provide early intervention whenever feasible to promote long-term benefits.

Your commitment to a patient-centered philosophy will emphasize empowerment and independence, equipping patients with the knowledge and resources to manage their own health needs.

Services will be delivered in various locations, including patients' homes, clinics, and community settings, often in challenging conditions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and serve as a resource for patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include managing clinical risks within your caseload, obtaining informed consent prior to treatment, and ensuring thorough assessments are conducted before referrals.

Qualifications and Experience
