ESG Regulatory Compliance Specialist

CLARC Recruitment is seeking a dedicated ESG Regulatory Compliance Specialist to enhance the Compliance team within a prominent Wealth & Asset Management organization. This newly established position focuses on the growing importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice and support to the organization regarding ESG regulations.
  • Monitor and identify emerging ESG regulatory changes pertinent to the organization and relay this information to key stakeholders.
  • Formulate and implement internal policies and procedures related to ESG compliance.
  • Build and sustain essential relationships within the organization and with external entities concerning ESG matters.
  • Create and deliver training programs focused on ESG compliance.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ESG compliance within a fund management environment, preferably in a compliance-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG regulations, including the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) and related frameworks.
  • Familiarity with investment funds, including UCITS and AIFs, is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
