This prestigious law firm is seeking a skilled immigration attorney, duly qualified, who possesses robust technical and interpersonal capabilities. The ideal candidate will take charge of a team of Immigration Specialists, providing expert guidance to corporate clients on all matters related to UK immigration.

Key Responsibilities:

The Corporate Immigration Solicitor will be tasked with, but not limited to, the following duties:

  1. Leading both UK and international engagements, including compliance and consulting projects.
  2. Overseeing service delivery, which includes drafting and approving legal advice, meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), and reviewing casework as necessary.
  3. Providing counsel on intricate cross-border immigration matters, addressing issues such as post-Brexit regulations and the implications of Covid-19 on travel and remote work.
  4. Assisting the team with complex challenges, including escalations, and delivering effective solutions and alternatives.
  5. Identifying opportunities for leveraging technology to enhance problem-solving and service delivery, and co-managing the implementation of new technological solutions.
  6. General practice management, which involves monitoring team performance, assessing training and development needs, and ensuring adequate support and coaching for team members.
  7. Taking on a Performance Manager role and contributing to the overall development of the team.

Candidate Profile:

This is a dynamic team, and the position is ideal for an ambitious and highly experienced immigration professional eager to play a pivotal leadership role in fostering growth.

The successful candidate will be expected to promote the team's work by participating in team and company events, delivering presentations, and producing articles for publication.

Demonstrating a high level of business acumen in terms of commercial analysis and current trends is essential.

The candidate should consistently produce high-quality work within demanding timelines while being unafraid to challenge the status quo in the pursuit of continuous improvement and elevating both personal and team performance.

A proven track record in the comprehensive spectrum of UK corporate immigration work is required.
