Maintenance Engineer - As part of our team, you will ensure the effective and safe functioning of mechanical and electrical systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule. You will be responsible for upholding the integrity of the building's structure and safety standards as directed by the Engineering Manager or Supervisor on a rotating basis. Your role will focus on minimizing downtime and disruptions to enhance productivity and manage costs efficiently. You will be expected to accurately document completed tasks in our specialized system and engage in internal training sessions. Additionally, you will maintain site security by performing checks before securing the premises and coordinating with the alarm service provider.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is ideal for you if:

  • You possess excellent communication skills and have experience in maintaining electrical and mechanical systems, with a solid grasp of pneumatic systems.
  • You have a background in engineering within the manufacturing fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, particularly in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • You are proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, and are dedicated to ongoing professional development.
  • You can work autonomously, manage your time effectively, and show resilience in completing tasks.

Terms:

  • 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from early morning to late evening, Monday to Friday, including potential overtime and on-call duties.
