About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and operations of a diverse commercial property portfolio within the M25. Based primarily at our office, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of technical services across multiple sites, while leading a small team of 6-8 engineers to deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of building services (including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing) across multiple commercial properties.
  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of 6-8 on-site engineers, ensuring high standards of performance and compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to clients.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide technical support to the engineering team to resolve issues promptly.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and smooth operation across all sites.
  • Monitor and manage KPIs to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and company standards.
  • Regularly report on maintenance activities and site performance to senior management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or senior engineering role within the facilities management sector.
  • Strong technical background in building services, particularly in HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience leading small teams of engineers.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance within facilities management.
  • A full UK driving license is essential, as travel across the M25 area is required.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with clients and team members.
