We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Literacy Lead to join our team at Phoenix Learning and Care Group. As a Literacy Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing the development of tailored literacy curriculum for our pupils, incorporating their interests and needs.

Our pupils thrive on learning in real-world settings, and we need someone who can bring their creative ideas to life. You will work closely with our teaching assistants to support the delivery of maths across the school and have oversight of the subject as a whole.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong ability to teach literacy/English to Level 2 (GCSE/Functional Skills) with experience of being a subject lead. You will also need to have patience, compassion, and resilience, as well as great communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
