About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our team at Castle View Personnel. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold-calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including key account management and customer service.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure customer briefs are accurately interpreted and customer expectations are met.
  • Prepare and distribute commercial documentation, including proposals and client briefs.
  • Develop and maintain a CRM system to track sales and prospecting activities.

Person Specification:

  • Proven track record of managing customer accounts and securing sales in a variety of contexts.
  • Experience of business-to-business sales and product distribution sales.
  • Construction industry knowledge and networks.
  • Working knowledge of marketing campaign planning and product messaging.
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
  • Ability to motivate and negotiate as part of the sales and customer-facing process.
  • Good standard of written English and German.
  • German speaker.
  • Confident in phone and oral communications.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Demonstrable planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Confident in dealing with customer complaints.
