Job Summary

The Phoenix Practice is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Manage patient flow, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process and manage medical billing, insurance claims, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, mailings, and other office duties.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and optimal practice operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in a front-office or administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in EMIS Web clinical system and other medical software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
