Role Overview:
The daily responsibilities can vary significantly, and you may find yourself engaged in a range of tasks such as:
- Coordinating team schedules and assisting the management team in various meetings and appointments. Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability are essential to help our young people make constructive choices while actively supporting the professional growth of your colleagues.
- Working on a scheduled basis (approximately 169 hours monthly for full-time roles), including sleep-in duties based on the home's requirements.
- Addressing the needs of our children and young people in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- We seek individuals capable of supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in executing all elements of the operational framework.
- Experience in leading a team within a residential care setting is essential.
- A qualification of NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent is required.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and the ability to receive supervision in line with quality standards.
- Willingness to undertake additional reasonable tasks as directed by the management team.
- Ability to step in during the absence of the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager.
- A valid UK driving license is necessary due to the nature of the role.
