Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our children's home in Selby. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Comprehensive Care Plans: Work with our care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and dedicated team of care staff who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.
- Foster Positive Relationships: Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Maintain High Standards: Ensure our home meets the highest standards of care and compliance, including regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Manage Complaints and Concerns: Investigate and resolve any complaints or concerns raised by young people, their families, or staff in a fair and timely manner.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with local authorities, healthcare providers, and other agencies to ensure our young people receive the best possible support and services.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a residential care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the last 5 years.
- Qualifications: Level 3 in Children's Residential Care is essential. Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is preferred.
- Knowledge: Understanding of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Skills: Efficient in planning, organizing, budget control, resource allocation, and team leadership.
- Communication: Confidence in effective spoken and written communication.
- Driving License: Full UK driving license required.
