This involves determining the quantity and order date for materials, initiating purchase or production requisitions in compliance with supply agreements, and creating schedules for production facilities based on forecasts and historical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to meet production or engineering schedules
  • Initiate purchase or production requisitions in compliance with supply agreements
  • Develop schedules for production facilities based on forecasts and historical analysis
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to ensure best quality at best value
  • Provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance
  • Participate in higher-level supplier performance reviews with the strategic sourcing team

Requirements

  • Ability to engage and work with key stakeholders
  • Experience managing workflow and implementing flow improvements
  • Confidence working with computer software, including Excel
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Positive and proactive approach to work, eager to solve problems and help the business run smoothly
  • Occasional customer interface may be required
