Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Academy team as a Kit Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about football and has excellent communication skills.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily support to our Academy coaches and players, ensuring that they have all the necessary equipment and resources for training and match days. This will involve driving the kit van, setting up and clearing the dressing room, and managing the kit stock and room.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support to Academy coaches and players, ensuring they have all necessary equipment and resources.
  • Drive the kit van to and from home and away fixtures, including overnight stays with the team.
  • Set up and clear the dressing room before and after matches.
  • Manage the kit stock and room, ensuring a clean and tidy working environment.
  • Support the match day operation as directed by the Academy Kit Coordinator.
  • Accompany the team on tour, including short periods of international travel.
  • Print logos on match kit and training wear.

Requirements:

  • Experience of operating in an elite sports environment.
  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Hold or be able to acquire a FA enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Be a dependable and reliable individual.
  • Be an enthusiastic team player, happy to positively interact with persons at all levels within the club.
  • Have a clean driving license and experience of driving a transit size vehicle.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and be capable of working on their own from time to time.
