We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality and Regulatory Engineer to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, and implementing Quality Control and Assurance initiatives within the special process area.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with sponsors, key stakeholders, and subject matter experts across all levels of the organization to ensure that all identified gaps are effectively addressed and aligned with QMS/AS9100/NADCAP standards.
- Develop and execute the most effective approach for quality enhancement, requiring the ability to think both tactically and strategically.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, customer, and internal requirements.
- Maintain strict adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Align the quality strategy and objectives with the overall expectations of the organization.
- Participate in PFMEA, design reviews, and formal gate reviews to enhance product and process quality.
- Assist the quality team with escape management to prevent and address quality issues.
- Contribute to data analysis and project selection to drive quality improvements.
- Take ownership of project goals and objectives to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support special process triages, team talks, audits, and other quality-related activities.
- Deliver OSI, FOD, and damage prevention training to operators.
- Assist the team with containment and inspection activities as needed.
- Project management experience.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Training and development skills.
