About the Role

Xylem is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Account Management Lead to join our team in the Northumbrian Water Region of the UK. As a leading water technology company, we are at the forefront of addressing the world's most critical water challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure business, frameworks, contracts, projects, and specification sales on behalf of Xylem Water Solutions UK Ltd.
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships within Northumbrian Water and the Infrastructure contractor market.
  • Identify and exploit new frameworks, existing frameworks/sales, opportunities, and new applications to ensure maximum gains in share of wallet.
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager and other field sales engineers to develop sales growth through Contractors, Engineering design consultants, and Municipal contacts.
  • Develop and maintain Account Plans and Call Plans for Municipal Contractors and Engineering Design Consultants.
  • Proactively develop and maintain key contracts within Northumbrian Water, Contractors, and wider supply chains.
  • Manage the Northumbrian Water Municipal Product Sales Budget, Service Sales Budget, and Treatment Budget for the Northumbrian Water Region.
  • Research and maintain market intelligence, including information on competitors and price levels.
  • Monitor competitor performance on Frameworks and develop strategic plans for new upcoming frameworks.
Requirements
  • Strong sales acumen and execution skills.
  • Ability to think out of the box to facilitate process improvements.
  • Sales strategy planning and business development skills.
  • Priority management mindset.
  • Knowledge of Waste Water Pumping Station layout and operation (preferable).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience of using a proprietary CRM system.
  • Existing contacts and relationships with relevant Water Company(s), Design Engineers, and Key Tier 1/M&E Contractors (preferable).
  • Full driving license (preferably clean).
