Personnel Security Risk Assurance Specialist

Leonardo is seeking a highly skilled Personnel Security Risk Assurance Coordinator to join our team. As a global high-tech company with a strong presence in Aerospace, Defence, and Security, this role reports to the Personnel Security Risk Assurance Manager.
The focus of this position will be on providing security advice, collating, reviewing, and reporting on Personnel and Physical Security Risk and Threat intelligence for Leonardo sites. Responsibilities include overseeing security policies, procedures, and supporting personnel traveling globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Risk Assurance Management Team across Physical, Personnel, Business, and Operational security objectives in a hands-on, flexible manner.
- Lead the development of Travel Risk Management Policy and Procedure aligned with Business Security goals and International Standards.
- Assess, mitigate, and approve travel security risks, especially in high-risk destinations, providing necessary support to travelers.
- Monitor travel security alerts and coordinate Travel Security Incident Management response.
- Analyze, interpret, and report on Threat Intelligence for Leonardo sites, employees, and assets.
- Develop relationships with business travelers, ensuring appropriate security support, including delivering pre-travel briefs.
- Provide guidance on Security Threat Intelligence matters to the Business Security function and wider business.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize the use of travel and threat intelligence sources.
- Contribute to security-related business planning and support awareness, education, and training initiatives.
- Experience in interpreting and implementing policies and guidelines.
- Skill in building relationships across diverse cultures and levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to engage and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varying priorities.
- Strong planning, analytical, and communication skills.
- Genuine interest in security principles.
- Practical experience with security standards, Travel Risk Management, or intelligence.
- Understanding of ISO 31030.
- Knowledge of security issues, transportation systems, and operational risks in international travel.
- Experience in security and geopolitical risks related to business travel.
- Familiarity with travel security or risk management vendors.
- Background in the travel industry or Defense sector.
