Job Summary:

GPW Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established, family-run construction company based in the North West region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring the commercial success of projects valued up to £1 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Cost Control and Management: Oversee project budgets, identify areas for cost savings, and implement effective cost control measures.
  • Liaising with Clients, Subcontractors, and Suppliers: Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Commercial Management: Manage project finances, including evaluating subcontractor quotes and negotiating contracts.

Requirements:

  • Strong Quantity Surveying Background: Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of commercial principles and practices.
